Follow Friday 7


Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

All I can think of right now is Ballad. I usually cannot finish a book if i'm not enjoying. There's a lot of books i've started and got a few chapters in, then thought...this is so bad URGH. So yeah right now it would have to be Ballad as I really hated that book.

    I actually haven't read Ballad, but I have read Lament and I liked that one pretty well.

    I agree, I usually won't finish a book if I'm not enjoying it by the 50th or so page which made this question a bit difficult to answer for me. I've never heard of Ballad but I'll be sure to stay away when I come across it. :)

    Have you read any of Maggie Stiefvater's other books? What did you think of them? I haven't read Ballad yet. I have read Shiver and Linger and I liked those well enough.

    I've only read Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. Ballad just never really appealed to me.

    I don't think I've heard of Ballad. I picked a book that a lot of people love and probably consider a classic, but which I absolutely LOATHE!
