Follow Friday 4 and tgif 1

Q. Genre Wars! What's your favourite genre and which book in that genre made it your favourite?

I don't have a favourite genre so much. I read mainly fantasy, and I especially enjoy urban fantasy. I can't pinpoint any one book. I guess Harry Potter instigated my love of all things magical and such when I was but a small child. Recently I am very much into Cassandra Clare so maybe Clockwork Angel. This is a pretty hard question to answer...but hope this kind of answers it.

And I quote: What are some of your favourite book quotes?

"...Have you fallen in love with the wrong person yet?'
Jace said, "Unfortunately, Lady of the Haven, my one true love remains myself."
"At least," she said, "you don't have to worry about rejection, Jace Wayland."
"Not necessarily. I turn myself down occasionally, just to keep it interesting."

Jace - Mortal Instruments

The Texan turned out to be good-natured, generous and likeable. In three days no one could stand him - Catch 22

Summary

This week I have read Red Glove, low red moon, Haunting Violet, and Sleight.

That's about it to be honest. I get my degree results today. Fingers crossed.

  11. Harry potter was a big influence towards any fantasy I could find as a teenager! I think you might like the Tairen Soul series, it's like Lord Of the Rings with romance and a lot of magic!

  15. Hi I'm an old follower hopping through. I couldn't narrow it down to just one favourite genre. What I like to read changes with my mood - but lately I have been reading a lot of YA and paranormal fiction.
