Q. In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer...let's talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?
I really enjoyed Holly Black's Tithe. I used to like Wicked Lovely, but not so much a fan of the series anymore. Fairytale fairytale would be Beauty and the Beast.
What's yours?
Summer Love: Where is your ideal place to take a summer vacation & get lost in a book?
I guess my ideal summer vacation would be Paris. I'm not a huge fan of hot weather. Although I guess a lone island to myself with a nice breeze, and lots of cocktails is quite tempting.

Thanks for stopping by today! I'd have to say I'm with you on the Wicked Lovely series---I loved the first one, but couldn't get past that! Beauty and the Best is awesome! Have you read Beastly? Pretty good adaptation! I'm on the fence about seeing the movie though...
ReplyDeleteNew follower here! :D
I really want to read Holly Black's books now! I haven't heard of them till you mentioned them. I got burned out on the Wicked Lovely books, they just started to make me angry like she was intentionally trying to have a 'unhappy ending' in them. Or not make it 'work out totally'. Even KMM gave Mac a happily ever after in a proper way lol

Aw, Beauty and the Beast, you know that reminds me of that old show that had Lisa Hamilton in it. I was like literally ten years old or something, when that show as popular and it was the one show that I was allowed to stay up and watch. I loved it so much, it had such beautiful imagery, the music, and the creativity in the tunnels underground that made up such a fascinating way of life. :)
